jpe2liot2 Posted February 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Are there board games on board to use like they have movies/ipods? My husband and I enjoy relaxing with a game in the evening. If yes, any ideas what type of selection they have/ which games? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
6rugrats Posted February 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2017 On the Windstar this December, there were some old scrabble games. There was one other one, but I don't remember what it was. Not an impressive selection. There is Wii if you can get them to connect it.
jpe2liot2 Posted February 25, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Thank you for the info. We were guessing that might be the case. We have been looking to see which games we have can be packed up small and may bring a few.
ducklite Posted February 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2017 I recall seeing a few board games in the library on the Surf, but they looked a bit shopworn. They should consider spending a couple hundred dollars a year to replace them and add some jigsaw puzzles while they are at it. It's a very small amount of money in the big picture. We don't play board games often, but I could see us wanting to do so on ocean crossings.
milepig Posted February 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2017 Some ships do have a few jigsaw puzzles, but they can be hidden. On the Pride they were in a cabinet in the Yacht Club. I only really saw them in use during a four day stretch at sea. People would sort of wander in, put in a few pieces, wander out, come back later. It helped pass the time.
