Hop on/Hop off in Key West

I've noticed there are two or three different options for Hop on/Hop off Trolleys in Key West. We want one that we can stay on for the entire tour and then get off and on at our leisure at several different stops. Any suggestions?

We have used Old Time Trolleys in Key West the two times we were there. You can pre-purchase your tickets and/or make your way to Mallory Square and get on the trolley there. You can stay on for the entire loop and then get on/off when you want. On one trip we also purchased the combo tickets for Hemingway House.

We have done both the Conch train and the Trolley.

There is no real Hop On / Hop Off that will allow you to get off the train or trolley and it will wait for you.

You have to wait for the next train or trolley and hope that there is room for you.

You have two/three options for hop on/off, they're all good. Go to the Ports of Call & look up key West there are write ups on the different choices.

City View and Old Time Trolley will allow you to stay on for the entire tour or allow you to hop off and back on at any stop. The Conch Train Tour does not allow hop on/hop off

Remember if you hop off the trolley and plan to hop back on, there may or may not be room for you. We found it was easier to hop off and walk back to the ship then try to get back on. However, you will find that Key West is a very pleasant stop and will enjoy it no matter what you end up doing.

We used Old Time Trolley and were satisfied. Wherever we do HOHO buses we usually do the full loop one time to get an overall look and decide which stops we want to get off at on the next loop. However, after completing the first loop back at the "terminal" we usually have to get off and move to a new bus at the head of the line.

Conch Train had HO/HO when I used it in January.

Conch Train site says

There are three stops- one is at Station Depot, allowing for a 10 minute rest break where you will find refreshments and shopping. Bring your ice cream and homemade fudge back on board to continue your tour. The second stop is at Truval Village, located at the corner of Duval Street and Truman Avenue. From Truval Village you are just minutes away from the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, the Key West Lighthouse, the Southernmost Point, the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory and the many fine art galleries, shops and restaurants of upper Duval Street. The third stop is at Flagler Station. The second stop is also where those who wish to can disembark to see the sights of the Historic Key West Seaport and choose to catch a later train.

Old Time Trolley has 13 hoho stops.

We've taken Old Town Trolley in 6 of the 7 cities it runs in and have never been disappointed. We feel, with limited time in a city, a HOHO trolley gives us the best overview and transportation.

We do some research before we go and try to plan where we might want to get off to maximize our time.:)

If you search online you may find some coupons or discounts.
