Cash?

We are thinking of going to paradise beach. Should I bring cash to buy my food and drinks or credit card? I have seen several people say they have been scammed using a card.

I would bring cash, a variety of small and medium bills, for all purchases in all cruise ports...

11 times to Coz and we have always used cash.

Cab drivers all over the world, including Cozumel, never seem to have change when you pull out $20 bills! As stated above, we usually bring cash and include lots of $1s and $5s so that we do not over tip or get stuck with change in pesos.

I wasn't even thinking about bringing cash, but I agree with the thoughts. Many years ago, I bought something in port with a credit card and suddenly there were several charges after I got back. Cash it is!! And they take US dollars, right?

Cash and small bills for two reasons - they never have change so they expect you to just say 'fuggedaboutit" or they will give you change back in local currency
