A bit OT...tomorrow is Phil and Marti's 50th Anniversary....

I was lucky enough to cruise with them in March on the Mercury. They are truely "GOOD PEOPLE"....and I wish all of you could have the chance to meet them as well.

In case any of you are wondering its "Cruisin with Marti" I am talking about [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img].

Their kids are giving them an Anniversary Party tonite...so I am not sure if they will be back on the boards till tomorrow or Monday.

Wow, what a greeting, thanks guys fr all of the well wishes and a special thanks to my pal Lois for her thoughtfulness.

What a great party we had at my youngest daughters home in Fresno CA., all of our 6 children and thier spouses along with the 13 grand kids and 1 great were there. My brother and twinsister and marti's sister along with some special life long friends came from out of state.

it was quite over whelming. We renewed our vows with my daughter minister doing the honors, quite a departure from the real event that took place on D day 1954. We ran away to Elko Nev, I was 18 and Marti had just turned 17. The event took place in the basement of the Elko jail and was perfomed by a hunchback justice of the peace. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif[/img]

Well enough of our life story, thanks again everyone.
We did kick off the celebration by having a great lunch with Rosie, who flew all the way from Arkansas for the occasion [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img] See you in November on the Mercury kid.
