First time on Celebrity, Dinning, Theater, and Entertainment Questions

May 7th will be our first time sailing with X, on the Summit, Bayonne to Bermuda. We have Celebrity Select Dinning and would like to start to make our dinning reservations. But the time we pick will be contingent on what time the shows will be in the main theater. Our time in port is fluid as this will be our 5th time visiting Bermuda, with our only try not to miss event being Harbor Nights in Hamilton on Wed. 5-10. We do prefer to come back from port, freshen up and change, grab a cocktail then attend the early show, dine, and then find later in the evening entertainment in the lounges or go to the casino.

- Approximately what time does the early shows occur?

- How long is the average show (45 minutes like RCI or 90+ minutes like NCL)?

- Are there any not to miss shows on board? We do realize that fly-on acts will vary, but let us know if there are any worth scanning the dailies for that were outstanding to you.

- If we reserve in advance, is there a better chance of getting the same service team each night or is this something we need to do once on board?

- Are women allowed to wear capris on Smart Casual Evenings?

- How well are reservations honored? Our last trip on RCI you could arrive 20 minutes early or up to 5 minutes late to still be seated.

- What nights are usually the Evening Chic?

- How long does service take?

- What venues are open later in the evening to walk up for a late night snack (10/11 pm), or if none how fast is room service?

- What time does the dance club and casino generally close?

- Also what time do the pools and hot tubs close, or is there at least one of each available 24 hours (on a rotational basis) like on Royal?

Try and answer some of your questions, have done Bermuda the last few years, on the Summit each of the last two years.

Shows are based around traditional dining, they will be around 7 and 9. On the evening chic nights they are usually 8 and 10, usually they are about 45 minutes or so. They usually have a couple of production shows with dancer's and singers. Other shows are the usual magician, comedian or some other type of act. Can't tell you exactly this far out.

In Select Dining you can request the same serving team, possible you might have to wait a few minutes depending on when you go. Can't help you on reservations as last couple of times we were in BLU.

Evening Chic nights will be Monday and Friday and you can wear capris, wife wears them all the time.

Buffet will be open late night into early morning but more limited than a few hours before. You won't starve.

Can't help you with the dance club but Casino will be open until early hours, usually when there are only a couple of people in it. Also, it is open in the evening from 8P.M. while docked in Bermuda.

Don't remember what time pools and hot tubs close.
