Tangocherie Posted March 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2017 On the deck plans, I notice that some of the decks have space outside past the forward staterooms. Do passengers have access to these outside decks toward the bow? On other threads for other lines these are sometimes referred to as secret decks. Tangocherie Posted March 18, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 18, 2017 These would not be "public" areas, but we were in a Spa Neptune Suite 10006. For whatever reason, the barrier to the front of the ship was open from our balcony for the entire cruise. The only access to this was from our room because the access was closed from the other suite 10005 (but it would be able to be accessed from that suite as well). Sent from my iPhone using Forums Dear djhsolara, I understand there is not a public area on deck 10. This is quite clear from the deckplans. However, the question remains for decks 7 to 4. Thanks to anyone with any help. Luc

catl331 Posted March 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 18, 2017 However, the question remains for decks 7 to 4. I tried to go out on 5 and was stopped by crew.
Rare geoherb Posted March 18, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 18, 2017 If it's like the Zuiderdam was last month, those deck areas are not normally open to passengers. They opened them to us only when the ship was at the Panama Canal.
