debnrick Posted March 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Was looking for items offered in the MDR for breakfast, lunch and brunches. Do you have to sit with other people? Are shorts allowed during these times?
Clarasgrandma Posted March 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2017 You don't have to sit with other people. My husband and I have sat with others but also dined on our own too. You will be asked upon entering how many in your party and can request to be alone. I usually wear a sun dress or capris to the MDR for the earlier meals. my husband always worn jean shorts without any problem. Do a search for menus. I have seen them on here somewhere.... bury me at sea Posted March 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Was looking for items offered in the MDR for breakfast, lunch and brunches. Can't provide, but it's varied and has breakfast/lunch options. Do you have to sit with other people? No. Are shorts allowed during these times? Yes. The steak and eggs is particularly good. If you want runny yolk ask for the Hollandaise sauce on the side. Took me three times and the upfront offer of a nice tip to get it right.
NitsirK21 Posted March 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Steak and eggs are only available during sea day brunch. Other days its the usual breakfast foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes, hollandaise eggs, juices.
meatloafsfan Posted March 21, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I highly recommend the zydecocruiser site for menus: http://www.zydecocruiser.net/menus/CarnivalCruiseLineMenus.htm You'll find both the breakfast and the brunch menus there. The brunch in the dining room is great and something we miss on other cruise lines.
SadieN Posted March 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Separate lunch menus are only served on the longer cruises on some sea days . We had three or four on our HI and Mexican Riviera cruises. Each lunch is a different menu. The weekly cruises will have breakfast on port days and brunch on sea days.
