CC Complimentary Travel Insurance Warning

Have presented a case to Princess. They have had our substantial deposit for nearly 2 years. So hoping something comes out of that even if its a future cruise. CC Insurance through Allianz have said no...have to pay in full before a claim. Have written to MasterCard/Cardservices x 2 pointing out the short comings of the policy but they have never had to courtesy to reply.

 

Have you tried to get the support of your local federal politician?

Have you contacted the Office of Fair Trading for advice on the best way to go about your case?

I seem to recall that the Government is working on having clearer terms and conditions on insurance policies.

What would it cost Princess to give you a cruise credit for a future cruise? They give free cruises to TAs to endorse their product all the time. Why not give a cruise deposit credit to a worthy cause like yours. After all the cruise and insurance industries need the goodwill!

Thanks. Will not give up. Hoping Princess will come good in some way. Our case has gone to their "Solutions Department". Good thought about Office of Fair Trading, it may be necessary.

Im sure that you will get some kind of resolution, it pays off in the end to keep plugging away at the problem
