HAL Website -- Always this bad?

Hi,

 

We're new to HAL and have been trying to check-in online, specifically adding flight info, and it is very slow and eventually throws me out and doesn't save information. Hence, I can't complete my online check-in and print doc's.

 

Anyone else having this problem? Is this typical or a fluke?

Pretty typical, unfortunately. Their issues change daily, but consistently, something is broken.

I almost didn't book our May 6th cruise with HAL because of the difficulties I was having with their site. It's the only site I have trouble on.

 

In this day and age it's unacceptable.

 

I wonder how many frustrated would be customers give up on a daily basis when they're searching HAL's site.

Thank you. Simple enough. I used Firefox and it worked splendidly.

 

Those of you having a problem if using Internet Explorer try using a different web browser. Night and day difference.

I've tried them all including my IPad....still slow, gets stuck etc.

Tried to book dinner reservations at Pinnacle today...ended up having to call to do it. The rep I spoke to said he's been hearing complaints for weeks about the website.

Captain Albert indicated in his most recent post that his blog is in dry dock while Seattle's techs do whatever it is they are doing. Patience is probably required, I guess.

I recently had a major problem with Carnival's website. I was booking a cruise and it wouldn't allow me to save after entering my spouse's frequent traveler number. I had to resolve it over the telephone. Seems like perfect websites aren't a priority for any cruise line.

I find it strange when you look up your reservations, your reservation is listed but in order to get to the main reservation page, you have to re-enter your booking number and last name, it should be automatic I would think!

Just completed our online check in for our upcoming Trans Atlantic cruise. printed out boarding passes, luggage tags etc.

No problems using Google Chrome.

Just made a shore excursion booking for Alaska, 2017 on the Amsterdam. I have a confirmation number, but no expected e-mail confirmation as yet to arrive. Usually, such takes place very quickly.

I have been using Microsoft Edge since it was recommended to me and I have not had any problems with HAL's site.

Always have trouble until this last cruise, when I used Bing. And voila!! it worked so smoothly. Try a different browser than Internet Explorer.

I agree that it seems like every time I log in to the HAL web site, something is broken. It usually clears up in a few days when something else breaks. I was told by my CC that they are looking for a new webmaster. I hope they get one soon.
