Magic - lunch on Embark day

2 days!

My DH insists that he wants Guys BBQ on embarkation day lunch. I have read it is open, but wonder if there is any beverage machines there? People sitting or take food elsewhere to eat?

It's just outside the buffet area. No beverage machines next to Guys, but only a few steps away inside the buffet. Seating is inside at the buffet or outside. No specific searing for Guy's.

No, not Guys Burgers on Lido......Guys BBQ on Deck 5.

There are bars on the promenade deck, but I don't think there are any free beverage stations like the lemonade and iced tea.

Sorry! Guys BBQ is only open on sea days. Not embarkation day. I think there are a few seats to eat on deck 5, but don't remember.

One odd thing. If you want water you must buy a bottle.

 

After the first day noticed many people would bring plates up to lido and get free drinks there.

I just did a search and I think it is probably not open on Embark day, only the 2 Sea Days.

 

So anyhow..... did they start putting drinks down there for lunch, or is everyone just grabbing a plate and taking elevator up to Lido?

you can get a glass of water from the tap at any bar, no charge

There are lots of tables near the BBQ inside and out. You can get water at the bar that is just inside where they play trivia.

On the Vista I could tell you for sure guys BBQ was opened on embark day it was great cause not many people knew about it and we walked right up. Don't know about the magic we are going April 1st would love to know

I can't remember if BBQ was open on embarkation. But I do remember it was open one port day when we got into port later in the day in addition to the Sea days when we went in October.
