Vacation protection?

You can definitely book it at least up to 2 weeks before you actually cruise, cause we have gotten phone calls from CCL within that time period to add it onto our cruise. (I pick up the phone cause it is a 305 area code, and I always hope it is an upgrade/upsell call - never to be!!) We always get "outside" trip insurance, as we have pre-existing conditions to worry about, and the cruiseline's insurance does not cover that. We always purchase Travelguard Gold.

Before you purchase through the cruise line, you should check out insuremytrip, you will often find better coverage for much less money. This is how we always get our insurance.

Ditto!!!
