AZ cruise getaways Posted March 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Did tipping go up for all categories of cabins or just suites and haven cabins? Just a little confused if we owe more money for our gratuities now with April 1st around the corner. Thanks.
AliceIn Posted March 31, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2017 For cruises booked prior to April 1, and sailing after April 1: If you are already booked, and you pay your gratuities up front, your rates won't go up. If you wait to board the ship, you will pay the higher rate. Cruises booked after April 1 will have the higher rates.
cb at sea Posted March 31, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2017 If you prepaid your tips, you are "grandfathered" in to the price you paid.

Believe you can still prepaid grats if you want the old price.

For those people for whom $0.04/pppd will make a difference. --Michael
