Deposit Question - Online vs On Board

Is there a standard reduction on deposits? If we are looking at an eleven day cruise carrying a $900 deposit online what would it be if booked on board? Its a corner aft that we would like to try but I'm afraid to not get it if I wait two weeks before we are on our next cruise.

I booked on Adv of the Seas last May for next month and only paid $50. If I booked on line it was $500. Prob gonna do same for Freedom for next May as its $500 for deposit on line again.

I booked last weekend while in the Empress and only put $100 deposit for Allure August 2018
