happyfamily3 Posted April 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Good Afternoon, I just hit the 90 day mark to pre-reserve entertainment and activities on the Anthem of the Seas Jul 1-6 to Bermuda. When I tried to book this on cruise planner it would not allow it. I called RC customer service and was told I am unable to pre-reserve them on this cruise, it must be done on board the ship. Has anyone else had this issue? Where do I go to do this? I'm pretty sure the window of opportunity is slim so assuming I should do this as soon as I'm on board. Also, anyone have an information on exercise classes offered on this ship. Please advise. Thank you. Donna
Rare cruiser2015 Posted April 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2017 It might be that you can't book until your full payment is made, which I believe is 75 days prior to sailing. We are sailing 14 days after your return. This seems to be different from all the posters' experiences noted on these boards. Either there's a change in policy, or the rep you spoke to was mistaken. It's not true that you must wait until final payment to make reservations. Most likely the cruise line has not released reservations yet.

I am only able to see and book activities that require $ and I do not see any entertainment options available for booking either. I have been checking everyday for 2 weeks. Carole2313 Posted April 4, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2017 I was on Anthem in Dec and it took forever to open up. We were finally able to book about 40-50 days out. Sent from my iPad using Forums

If reservations have already opened up, you can download the Royal IQ app at home and upon boarding the ship, immediately make reservations on the Royal IQ app, no internet purchased is needed, just connect to Royal Wi-Fi . You can also go immediately to the Royal Theater on Deck 4, Staff members will be in back of the theater taking reservations for shows, dining and activities. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=

slyster Posted April 7, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 7, 2017 They just opened our entertainment reservation yesterday for our September 28th cruise. That's over 5 months away. Others have posted it just "depends" I still owe $100 on our cruise so it doesn't open up for anyone who has made full payment. Just keep your eye out because I would assume it will be any day now!
