B2B how to change ships

Recommended Posts

DH and I are considering a B2B. He'd like to go but on different ships, different line. To those that have done different ships how hard is it to go from one to another. We are "mature" citizens and would we have help with luggage etc? Is it too much of a hassle or is it better to stay on the same ship different itineraries??

Thanks for your answers.

We prefer the same ship to avoid packing and unpacking again. However, if you don't mind the packing/unpacking, changing ships at a cruise port like Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale would be a short taxi ride.

We did a s2s in december allure and freedom for the first time. It was pretty easy but we can handle our own luggage. Could you get a porter to help you get your luggage to the taxi?
