on embarkation day, does anyone have experience with a discount for Tuscan Grill that night?

If it exists, is it specific to Captains Club status?

As we boarded the Eclipse in March of last year, I approached the table offering specialty reservations and expressed interest in that night, "if there's a discount available". I was offered 2-for-1 and jumped at it. So we sat at a table for 2 at the aft window watching the wake and sunset.

 

So, discounts are available, but ho guarantees . . . Also don't know if it being a holiday will make a difference on your sailing.

 

We had a great trip, and I'm sure you will as well.

You can usually get at least a 20% discount at any specialty restaurant on the first night. Very often they will match it for a second night if you book it at the end of dinner.

I think people often get 30% discount on the first night. I don't think it has anything to do with Captains Club level.

Eclipse offered us 2 for 1 the first night in February 2017.
