First cruise - Nov 2017 -Deck 10

My best friend and I are going on our first cruise and we are very excited. We are going November 9, 2017 on the Valor and have a balcony room on deck 10. Any advice? Anything you want to share?

congrats on your first cruise the valor was my first ship and i also had a balcony now i cannot cruise unless i have a balcony cabin. Just remember you are on vacation enjoy your cruise.

You'll both be super excited on your 1st cruise. Any cruise is terrific, but a 1st one is special, and a wonderful experience. You'll remember it always. I know you'll want to get out and around, and see all the great things to see and do on board. My tip is remember to slow down and take the time to enjoy your balcony. You paid extra to get it, so USE it. Order room service coffee, and drink it out on the balcony each morning. Get a beverage just before heading back to your cabin at night. Drink it out on the balcony. If you're lucky enough to have a full moon, it's gorgeous. If no moon, it's still great just to sit and listen to the ship sail through the water. For me, there's nothing better than watching the ocean, next to the rail of a ship. Day or Night.

 

Have a wonderful cruise, and prepare to get hooked, like the rest of us, for life.

My advice is to ENJOY!!! Do as much or as little as you want!!!! Breath!! Take advantage of the Serenity area, do the steakhouse one night, and do NOT sweat the lil stuff!!
