Towels

You do not need to take towels with you - they will be provided at the pools as well as for the beach at ports of call. They may scan your SeaPass card to keep track of them when you take them but will re-scan when you return them.

For information regarding entertainment on board, use the following email address and send your request about 2-3 weeks before your sailing date. Reference your ship and sailing date in the email and RCI will respond with the scheduled entertainment for your cruise.

You should get a beach towel for each person in your cabin and you can get them on the deck by the pool. They will be replaced as you use them so you don't have to try to dry them. No need to take towels with you.

Every night you will get info on EVERYTHING happening the next day and night. Some people take a highlighter to mark what they want to be sure they don't miss the next day!

Not so with RCI. Towels are available at the pools and port of call disembarkation decks.

Sorry totally new to this forum thought it was for Asking questions???????

Ask away and welcome to cruise critic!

If you look at the main menu page you will find lots of forums - you can ask questions about specific ports, specialty cruising, cabin selection, etc., plus each cruiseline has their own forum. This forum isn't as "specialized" therefore by looking at the different forums you will get more, and probably better responses. Hope that helps!

Yes, it is for asking questions of a general nature. However, each cruise line has policies, procedures, etc that are specific to them. So asking questions about things like pool towels or entertainment lineups are more appropriately asked on the cruise line's own forum. In your case, the Royal Caribbean forum. If you scroll down the main forum page, you'll find other forums dealing with other, specific, topics.

I do have a suggestion for the OP. What we always do before each cruise is to go to the cruise line's website and read up on the ship we're going on and also read the FAQs and other info. If I have further questions, I might ask on that cruise line's board. But sometimes (and you'll see this after a while) there may be disagreements on factual items.

We do this even when we're repeating a ship. When I first started cruising, we would get a pamphlet that would have needed info about the line, including items you're not allowed to bring, the tipping policy, etc., that would come with the cruise docs. Now that most people have a computer (or they go to the library or get their TA to print out anything they need), they can get this info on line, as well as print out boarding passes and luggage tags.
