This is probably going to sound stupid but take a shower and shave your legs. It's so much easier when the ship isn't moving.

I like to shave my legs before I go on a cruise luckily my hair is semi slow at growing back so one shave the night before will last me the week

I love staying onboard in at least one port during our cruises. It's just quieter...more room in the pool/hot tub, shorter lines at the buffet or other restaurants. There's trivia and other stuff to do, but if you're looking for some downtime, this is the time to do it.

The sad thing is our secret is getting out. We love to stay on the ship at some ports, especially Nassau and Freeport. It seems like more and more people are doing the same. Boo!!!! :D

This is true! In ports where folks had rather not bother to get off the ship you certainly won't have the ship all to yourself.

I am a photographer (hobby, not professional) so I take the time to get more photos of the ship and to walk the ship and see parts of it that are usually too crowded to see when everyone is onboard. Of course, there's trivia and the buffet and sitting on Promenade when nobody else is around. Sometimes, you find a crew member willing to chat for a bit and you get to know them. Get yourself a nice drink and get some quiet time on Serenity and get into the pool without the crowds.

With no casino & shops open and no one wanting to be outside it was a CROWNED ship!

If it was CROWNED and Anchored you could have been on a Royal Caribbean ship.

It was docked .... Carnival ship.

Some people have no sense of humor. ( I thought it was funny, AdGuy)
