Is room service available during embarkation day?

Hi ya, just been thinking about upcoming cruise, we may prefer to hang out in our suite and balcony on embarkation day and wondered if meals/snacks can be ordered through room service.

 

Anyone know?:)

For several hours we have always had the phone ring off the wall and they don't answer.

They have many duties on turnaround day.

Maybe just grab something from the HC and bring it back to your cabin.

Keith the OP is in a suite. One of the perks is a full breakfast can be ordered. Were you thinking of a standard cabin or have you had issues while in a suite.

I don't even try to call room service on the first day...they never answer.

LOL Guess I got confused with embarkation. Yea it would be a bit difficult to have breakfast. Me bad.

Don't even bother. This is the busiest time onboard... You can grab something from the International Cafe or Horizon Court and bring this back to your cabin....

I usually get thru in a suite, when we 1st board to change out our double mini bar. That is one of the things they are busy doing. Too bad they don't have a better way of doing it, maybe online, or at checkin.

I never want to bother my room steward with it, they have enough going on that 1st day

Yep, same experience here. Now I just go to the specialty restaurant and make the reservations in person.
