Navigator WiFi in room

I do not believe that you can use Skype on any ship. I did see someone on the Voyager using Face Time but he had to walk around the ship during dinner (when few people are online) to do it. On Explorer, someone was rudely Face Timing at the table during dinner service (again, when people are to online).

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Skype is disabled on Regent ships.

Reference Skype on Navigator. Just received our package for upcoming Amazon River cruise. Direct quote from "Welcome Aboard" brochure under "Free Unlimited WIFI" section:

Please note that in order to ensure optimum connection speeds, bandwidth heavy applications such as Skype, YouTube and MagicJack are blocked through our internet provider. Service and speed will very depending on the location of the ship and time of day.

The above should make this a very-short thread.

You'd think, wouldn't you? But don't be surprised if it turns into a 'free vs included' or 'why do we only get one login' or 'I'll Skype while wearing my dress jeans whenever I want to' threads...
