We are booked on Princess next year embarking in Yokohama (Tokyo). So far I cannot find a pre-cruise hotel and transfer package from them like you find in many other ports. Do they even offer one in Tokyo/Yokohama? Thanks.

Hi,

We are booked on the Japan & Voyage of the Glaciers Grand Adventurer next April and have just been advised of the details for a pre cruise hotel. We have booked via Princess at the Keio Plazza hotel Tokyo at £400.00 per night plus £55 per person for transfers to ship. I am sure you could get it a bit cheaper independently but for peace of mind and less stress its done and dusted. Hope this helps you

If you are at all interested in booking a hotel on your own, we stayed at the Hotel Jal in Yokohama last summer. It was very clean and nice, helpful staff, great breakfast, and within easy walking distance of the port. Nothing fancy but perfectly fine and convenient for a pre-cruise stay. Close to Chinatown and metro station, too. Very reasonable, especially since we were there during the Obon holiday. https://www.booking.com/hotel/jp/jal-city-kannai-yokohama.html

Hi,

We did the 8-day Circle Japan cruise on the Diamond Princess in July 2016 (roundtrip from Yokohama). We booked hotels (including transfers) through Princess both before and after the cruise. We spent one night at the Nikko Narita Hotel prior to the cruise. After the cruise, we spent two nights in Tokyo at the Keio Plaza Hotel. Both hotels were very nice.
