edwardsm Posted May 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Is there a formal night on POA seven day cruise, ? If so, when and is lobster served in main dining room? Which night is the White Hot Party? When is the BBQ on the pool deck. I don't want to reserve our 3 specialty dinners during these events. Thanks,
reporterbabe Posted May 8, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2017 Formal night was the night we sailed out of Maui when we took the cruise back in March. Lobster was not on the menu but they set up a whole bunch of backgrounds for photos. There was a BBQ on the pool deck when we sailed from Kauai. Lunch. Possibly the first night as well but DH and I were quarantined and missed everything. I believe the White Hot Party was the second night of the cruise, but don't hold me to that one. njhorseman Posted May 8, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2017 No lobsters anywhere on NCL ships. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2401137 For that matter, no formal nights either...and there haven't been any for years, so the post stating there was a formal night may be referring to "Norwegian's Night Out", or whatever name they're using these days. Rare BostonGal35 Posted May 9, 2017 #12 Share Posted May 9, 2017 you can buy lobster at an upcharge in the MDR for $20ish bucks. at least that is what i saw on our last two NCL sails. white hot party starts, i thought, around 10pm. so unless you like to eat at 9 or 930, you wont miss that.
