Hello everyone. We were just assigned cabin 6053 for our June 18th sailing. Does anyone have any comments about this cabin? It shows a larger balcony on the "hump". Is there any downward view obstruction? Are there any privacy concerns? So if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.We will be wearing our beads for the sail away gathering meet up at the Ocean View (Sunset Bar) See you all there. Watson50 (Keith)

That looks like a very nice cabin ... really shouldn't be anything noisy down below you and there is a cabin above, so that shouldn't be an issue. What is nice is the balcony is slightly larger than the others on either side and you will still be protected from the wind as the slant is aft facing. If standing at your railing, people will be able to see you from their balconies just aft of yours.....but sitting down it should be private. You will be able to see onto other's balconies more than they can see onto yours. Looking straight back, you will see lifeboats on your level but they should not obstruct your view looking forward, straight out or straight down.

It is a nice cabin with the larger slant balcony; we had a similar cabin on deck nine of the Millennium last fall and really enjoyed the extra space. However, the above comments concerning lifeboats is not correct; the lifeboats are not on the same level since they are on deck 5. Although there is a lifeboat below the balcony of this cabin, there is no obstructed view looking aft, forward or straight out. And the slight obstruction looking straight down should not be a problem.
