Can someone tell me when one becomes gold and platinum?

Yep--- Gold = 25 days of cruising thru 74 days of cruising, 75 = Platinum. But if you reach one of these during a cruise, you will be considered that level on the 1st day of the cruise.

Yes, if you turn gold during that cruise you will be gold from day one of the cruise.
