Ronni G Posted May 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Experienced cruiser, but first time with Royal. Will be on Empress of the Seas. Know the ship is smaller and older, but what can you share about the food, restaurant choices, and entertainment. Do they usually have a piano player at night? Cruising to Cuba so any tips on that would be appreciated as well. Thanks.
Clarea Posted May 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Recent review with Cruise Compass will show the entertainment/music around the ship: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2501522
Rare Captain Funtime Posted May 26, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Recently on Empress. Only one specialty restaurant Chops. Ate there twice. They were offering 20% off every day around the ship. Piano player every night in Schooner bar. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Destaw71835 Posted May 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2017 We cruised Empress in June 2016. We only ate in the Windjammer. The food was adequate, we didn't go hungry but it wasn't anything special. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
