Northern Lights!! Seattle

Could the Northern Lights be enhanced by the volcanic ash due to the eruption in the Aleutians?

 

I know Australia had a really strong performance the last 24 or 36 hours.

That was awesome! Have plans to take a chance for the Northern Lights in Ireland or Norway next year. Thanks for sharng.

No. Auroras take place far too high up - literally at the edge of space from 40 miles high to 400 miles. Much to high for ash to reach.
