Aquahound Posted June 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2017 It's a Freedom Class ship with Royal Caribbean. That class of ships is pretty awesome. Especially with this being your first cruise, you're going to be in awe. Royal Caribbean is known for its "wow" factor. Is there something specific you'd like to know? billee123 Posted June 2, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted June 2, 2017 "Wow" is what I was hoping for :) I have two teenage boys, I just want them to enjoy. We will have two days at sea...that's what I worry about for them really. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Aquahound Posted June 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2017 Oh heck no, they'll be fine. Between the Flowrider (surf simulator), basketball court, ice skating rink, swimming pools, teen club, arcade, movie theater, and all the activities scheduled, there will be plenty to keep them occupied. Enjoy your cruise. You pick a great ship and a great cruise line. :)

Grandma Dazzles Posted June 2, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 2, 2017 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Kids will have a great time! Lots for them to do. Would suggest checking out the specific Royal Caribbean board for more specific information and a good place to ask questions.

jocap Posted June 2, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 2, 2017 She's a remarkable ship... Depending when you're sailing on her- in summer, out of Southampton, it's mainly Brits and Irish, but I think it's mainly Americans in the winter- with friendly, efficient crew. She's a ship which I recommend to people with active children, and those families who've tried her have brought their children home in a kind of daze because of all the experiences on -and off- the ship. My young relatives enticed their grandmother to go with them on the next cruise... she was married to a sea captain and thought she knew about sailing and ships, but even she came back in a bit of a daze after the Indy experience! You'll love it. :)
