There are plenty of recommendations, including Blackberry on the London Forum on Tripadvisor.

 

BTW we don't use the word 'downtown' in Europe. In London places are designated by their names like Mayfair, West End, Kensington etc. On mainland Europe they use city centre or historic centre.

lol The "downtown" reference confused me too. There is no downtown in London. There's "The City" and areas like Knightsbridge, Kensington, Paddington, Hyde Park, Chelsea, Mayfair, etc.

Not quite London but, in Manhattan (NYC), "downtown" refers to any location south of where you are standing while "uptown" refers to (you guessed it) anything north of you.

Actually there is a place called Downtown in London - it's the name of a small area of east Rotherhithe, which even now maintains a slightly distinct character (but not so much as when I first knew it 30 years ago). There was a famous nightclub of the same name there.

 

But that's a long way from Mayfair in every sense! Just make sure you don't accidentally book a transfer there :)
