There is someone to direct you to a drop-off spot prior to parking your car. For our May 25th cruise, we arrived at around 10:20, which was a bit early since passengers were still disembarking from the previous cruise. This cause some congestion at the drop off locations as passenger from the prior cruise were still being picked-up. Next time we cruise, we will try to arrive at around 10:30 - 11:00.

It's easier to drop off luggage first, but you don't have to. Parking garage is very close to drop off area and has elevators to street level.

Everyone, even if you want to park without dropping off luggage, needs to go through the drop off area. After 11 the traffic can back up quite a bit.

That's a good point. I remember asking if I could just go to the garage and bring my luggage with me to drop off and someone posted that you have to drive by there anyway so just take the extra minute to drop off the luggage and park.
