How was your recent FTTF experience

How was your experience with FTTF with the tender port like Half Moon Key. Did you feel like you got on the tender faster then not having it? I know you have priority with it so I was just looking for someone's recent experience.

Best part about FTTF is the instant profit CCL makes. Helps the bottom line which can help the stock...

It sure does!! I have a net gain of over $3000 in CCL!! WooHoo....Keep buying that FTTF...since I know it is a waste of my money. vbg.....

The key word there is "my." You think it's a waste of your money, but that doesn't make it a waste of money period. The value of FTTF is subjective and, to many, is well worth its cost.

First, no matter how many times you write it, I still don't know what "VBG" means. Secondly, if I take $70 more than you do, then I have 70 extra bucks. ;) The purchase of any add-on package has nothing to do with it. Lastly, we've yet to purchase FTTF, sorry to disappoint your portfolio. Any money spent with Carnival, including your own cruises, has the potential to help the value of their stock. Since FTTF has been offered for a long time, and the number of purchases are regulated by Carnival, I doubt it alone has much impact on your precious portfolio.

There is always the "ignore list." ;)

We always prepay with our booking.....it is just part of the cost of a wonderful vacation. Be sure to take extra cash just in case you feel someone has gone out of their way to make your vacation...

We try to snag the FTTF passes every time we book with Carnival. I've been able to get it three out of four cruises. If you like skipping lines and saving time, then it's worth the money. If you don't mind waiting in long lines and would rather save the money, then it's probably not worth it. I would rather pay to skip long lines and get where I'm going quicker. Two other advantages are that you can go directly to your room as soon as you board the ship and put away your carry-on baggage and also leave the ship earlier if you want to walk off of the ship with your luggage. That is helpful if you have a very early flight out.

We bought FTTF for our third cruise last week. Sailed past the long security line, flew past the long check-in line, and walked past people waiting in the terminal right onto the ship and headed straight to our room to drop our carry-ons and went to lunch unencumbered.

Short line at guest services (we had to go three times for minor issues) and priority debarkation with a low luggage zone number made FTTF well worth the small additional cost to us.

No, I had FTTF on my recent Dream cruise and it was only good for getting onto the boat for initial embarkation. My luggage did not arrive in my room until around 3 or so and the room was not even clean and ready until 2pm. For tender, I think I had exactly the same experience as regular tender. I found no reason to go to the guest services desk this cruise.

As for initial embarkation though, I feel it paid for itself there as people were still in line to board three hours after I had lunch on the lido.

Unless you sell it, it is nothing but a number, where as those who bought FTTF have actually received a benefit.

I am a patient person, and don't mind lines. My traveling companion is not a very patient person, and she does not like waiting in lines. I like people watching, she does not. 2 cruises ago she begged me to buy FTTF, and since it is both of our trip (we share the costs 50/50), I did. Best $ we could have spent. Just by chance there was a serious tropical storm (Patricia) that was raging in Galveston the day we were set to sail, and when we got to the port it was pure chaos. Lines of soaking wet people trying to all squeeze into the same place and get out of the gale force winds and pouring (POURING) rain. It was a little embarrassing really, as we literally were escorted to a woman who typed our names, took our credit cards, handed us our keys, and we then were escorted to an elevator, and immediately on to the ship, to our cabin to change into dry clothes. Done.

So yes, we did buy it again, for our last trip (April) and while the lines were nothing at all like they were that first time, it certainly was lovely to bypass the line, and within 5 minutes be on the ship.

Yes, we have FTTF already for our 2018 cruise. We now just factor the cost into the trip...like trip insurance...another thing that travelers either understand purchasing or don't.

Faster boarding, priority guest services and priority tender all made it worth our $$$ our teens loved the fact that we were cutting the huge line for tender and get to shore first. I don't mind waiting but my gf and the kiddos certainly enjoyed the perks

I did just purchase this for my 2018 cruise as I am an impatient person sometimes! I didn't buy it on for my cruise last month because we had no tender ports and I had a 11 am check in time. I never had to go to use guest services but I remember seeing the long line

I wasn't too concerned about tenders, getting on early and in our cabin by 2:00'was nice.

Disembarkation is always a drag, we were off early, made the 2 hour drive and were home by 11 am.

I'd definitely purchase it again.

Good Morning I was just on a cruise in May that had a stop at Half Moon Cay and I had FTTF and yes I am glad I had it. My family was able to get an tender early. There were some people who were not able to get on a tender leaving the ship until 1:30 and the last tender back from the island was 3:00 so they only had 1 1/2 hours on the island. I am so glad we had FTTF and the other perks that come with it aren't bad either.

I have a medical problem so standing in long lines around all the people loaded with perfume and sunscreen it is definitely worth it for me plus to get Lido and have a nice leisurely lunch is a nice perk. Having to tender in and out like Grand Cayman it worked great.
