AdvocateMom Posted June 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2017 I hate to ask such an embarrassingly simple question, but are there really not hair dryers in the cabins? Or only in balcony cabins (or only aft balcony cabins)? I've searched online, and a lot of the information out there is dated. We're traveling with a large group, and I don't want to pass along incorrect information. I know this is an older ship, but I can't remember the last time I had to bring my own hair dryer. We're all flying into port, and I don't want to take up space/weight with a hair dyer if I don't have to. Thanks for any help you all can give! disneylover89 Posted June 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2017 I believe only suites have hair dryers
kicia Posted June 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Only suites have hair dryers on the Sensation (and all Fantasy class ships). Either bring your own or you can ask your room steward to bring one. They are available until they run out.
cb at sea Posted June 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2017 I always bring my own...the provided dryers do not blow well at all. That's the whole point of "blow drying"...the blowing! Bring your own, and you won't have "bad hair" all week!
Frank12 Posted June 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Steward will bring you one if you ask when you first board.
AdvocateMom Posted June 14, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Thanks so much, everyone! I just wanted to be sure before I sent information out to our entire family reunion group.
bakersdozen12 Posted June 14, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2017 If you go to Carnival's website, there's descriptions of every single cabin on every cruise ship, including what is including in the room (like whether hairdryer is included). jdemps Posted June 14, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Even if the room shows it has a hair dryer, I've found it in a drawer in the bedroom which is a very odd place to keep it plugged in. You can't move it I don't think and it doesn't work very well. Invest in a very small but powerful travel dryer and you will not regret it.
