What's the earliest recommended flight out of Miami?

For a 1030 flight you need to be at MIA by 9:00 - and 8:30 is better if you've ever seen the TSA lines at MIA. That translates into off the ship, with bags and in a taxi by just after 8:00. Just because the ship arrives at 7:00 does not mean you can get off that early.

Doable? Sure. Chance it will not work and you'll miss your flight - yup! Do you want to spend your cruise worried about making your flight home? I don't. Book something closer to noon, enjoy one last breakfast in the MDR, and avoid the stress is my suggestion. Your call.

I wouldn't book it. Agree that 11:30 would be the earliest I'd book.

Years ago it would be easier finding empty seats on the next flight if you should miss the original. With few if any empty seats on planes lately, I figure when in doubt, the decision is easier now.

The reality is that 10:30 is possible. But there is no guarantee you will make it. You might if all goes well and you might not but you might not even be off the ship until 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM. Then you not only have to get to the airport but deal with check in and security. And that is an unknown.

Me I wouldn't book before 11:30 AM.
