Buying Liquor Ashore

On the New England/Canada cruise next year on the Adventure. There's a certain liquor I want to buy that's only sold in Nova Scotia. What are the rules with buying ashore and bringing it back to the ship? Is it the same like buying bottles of liquor on the ship?

When you go back to the ship, they have a table set up. You give them the bottle and they give you the receipt. You either collect the day you leave or they deliver to cabin

Liqourmen's. The whiskey made by the guys from Trailer Park Boys. It's probably terrible, I just want it as a novelty. I like their show.

My brother loves that show. We have friends who visit Nova Scotia often, maybe I'll ask them to bring me a bottle for him.
