fstuff1 Posted May 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2018 you still have to pay the tips surcharge? or is that included in the price of the cruise?
Rare graphicguy Posted May 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2018 Had a discussion about this with another passenger on my GEM cruise last week. In theory only, but I can see NCL moving to an "all inclusive" model on a ship by ship basis moving forward. They are already pretty liberal in throwing in perks like SDP and the UBP. The next logical step is to throw in both on more and more ships. They've been pretty innovative in the past with Freestyle. This would be another one of those shifts that separates them from everyone else.

ElaineKeagy Posted May 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 10, 2018 you still have to pay the tips surcharge? or is that included in the price of the cruise? The DSC for these all-inclusive ships is in the $19-20 range PPPD. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

ElaineKeagy Posted May 10, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 10, 2018 Yes the increased DSC covers the service charge for the bartender. Additional tips would be discretionary. Some swear they get better service when they tip individual bartenders. Sent from my iPad using Forums
