I've googled the internet and cannot find pictures of the obstruction on the Royal or Regals' cabins E324 or E325. Does anyone have pictures or perhaps you had one of these cabins, if so please let me know what the obstruction is. Thanks

I don't consider what's below an obstruction.

You are right. That is why I always try to book 433 or 437, or another cabin in this area. Plus the balcony is larger.

Your right, the obstruction is only when you look down. You will either have an obstruction across the top of the lifecraft boat of approx. a ft or more or worse the bubble on top for the driver or the end bars that lift the craft. In other words definitely a obstruction.

Hi Duffysmom, we were on the Royal in May this year, we had E322 and ourfriends had E324.

Our view was looking straight over the top of a lifeboat, where our friendshad a partial view of the mechanism/lifeboat.

We were also on the Royal last year and we had E318 - Photos below

Hi Duffysmom will try again, these are the views from E318 which is similar to E322.

E324 has the mechanism that lowers the lifeboat as you can see on the far left.

I will also add that these are the large lifeboats that carry around 290 passengers, not the ones that are used for tenders.

The one thing that you do get with these cabins is the extra room with a settee in it.

I do hope that this helps finally!:)

Thank you all for your help. magandy the pictures were helpful. Wouldn't you know my cabin is one of the few that doesn't have pictures. What's up with that!!

Be sure to take a couple of photos while you are on board and send them to Theo! He'll be able to update the site for the next person that sails in that cabin!
