Hokiegalcruiser Posted July 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Noro precautions went into effect Tuesday, but my husband got it, as did 5 of 6 of our group. I am hoping I won't, but we'll see. The medical staff said at 4 am there were at least 60 reported cases, but the numbers were climbing. We left the port area, but am sure they were delayed boarding today. Loreto Posted July 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) I knew when they took the salt/pepper shakers away, were wiping the Lido Market counters down with disinfectant and the taco bar was no longer self serve that something was up. I , unfortunately, became sick on the flight home.. Delta flight attendants were very helpful. The man who sat behind us on the flight from Vancouver said the Princess ship, the Island Princess, which docked with us in Vancouver yesterday was also stricken.. The cruise itself was great, with lots of time in Glacier Bay. It is unfortunate to end the cruise with Noro.
