elruth Posted July 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2017 We have FTTF for our upcoming cruise. Read in another post to be sure to have porters put orange stickers on the luggage. What?? I have printed the luggage tags and on them is an emblem that says FTTF. What else do I have to do? I never heard of a special orange sticker that has to be applied to the luggage. Please advise.
SadieN Posted July 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Haven't had one of those in a few years in Long Beach. Luggage arrived fast.

RWolver672 Posted July 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2017 (edited) They put the orange tag on your tags so that they can spot a priority delivery sooner. The FTTF logo is not really that big. They would have to actually look at each luggage tag to spot it. By putting the orange tape on it, it makes it easier for the luggage handlers to expedite them. If I remember right, it was just an orange piece of tape. Edited July 21, 2017 by RWolver672
Boston Mom Posted July 21, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Do we have to ask them to put the orange sticker/tape on our luggage tags when we drop off the bags, and let them know we are FTTF?
firemanbobswife Posted July 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Do we have to ask them to put the orange sticker/tape on our luggage tags when we drop off the bags, and let them know we are FTTF? Yes. Sometimes they see it and sometimes they don't.
DALSAL Posted July 21, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2017 I always mention FTTF when handing my luggage off to them. Never had an issue.
crusinpsychRN Posted July 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2017 I'm Platinum and am supposed to get my luggage early but didn't until I started getting the orange sticker from the porter. Have them staple it on as the glue is very hard to get off the luggage.
NCTribeFan Posted July 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2017 I've only had the orange sticker put on the existing luggage tag, not on the luggage. FWIW, my luggage has consistently arrived LATER than it used to before FTTF came along. I've even had to ask the steward or porter I see delivering NON FTTF why I haven't received my bags. Been Platinum for several years and never had a problem until FTTF came along. Orange stickers haven't helped. Oh well. I pack what I need for the day in my carry-on and bags usually arrive prior to late dinner, but my bags never arrive early. :(
Moonarino Posted July 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Just wanna say I really appreciate this question and discussion. I've only used FTTF once before, and next time I might've overlooked making sure we got the orange tag. Thanks to all.
