What happens if someone in one of our cabins just does not show up?

We have a college student in our group who might ditch us last minute. We are not expecting any type of refund if it happens, but will we have any problems? I saw someone mention once that taxes are refunded for no shows. Is this true?

A couple of years ago, our son was cruising with nine friends to celebrate their graduation and the night before, one of them said he didn't want to go. They were able to change the name for $50 and add another friend who was more than happy to go on a cruise for $50. Maybe you can find someone to take this person's place if they bail.
