Best rental car to use - Orlando to Port Canaveral

We plan on spending 3 days in Orlando prior to our cruise on the Magic out of Port Canaveral. Any suggestions on which rental car company to use? I thought I saw Hertz was most convenient to the port? Any you would stay away from based on your experience?

It does not really matter how close the agency office is to the port as they are all within 2-3 miles and have free shuttles to the cruise terminal.

 

We use Avis and have had very good experiences.

The "best" is the one that gives you the lowest total price for the car size you need ;)

A further point ... check and see if any of the rental agencies offer a discount for any memberships you may have.

Have read lots of very poor reviews on rental cars at MCO. Anyone have a very good experience and if so, which rental car agency. Or which agency should we avoid?
