Yacht Club Luggage

When booked in the Yacht Club, do you give most of your luggage to the porters to put on the ship and only your carry on to the Butler at check in Tent? Or is all of your luggage taken to the tent?

My experience is that they take your luggage as soon as you arrive and they ID You as a Yacht Club cruiser.

Don't let the regular porters take your luggage. Make sure you go to the Yacht Club tent and have it handled there.

Never let the regular porters take your luggage if in the YC. There will be special porters at the white tent to take it. That's where it is tagged for YC. Your carry on will be taken inside by the butlers as they escort you through security.
