Don't forget "Sky Princess" which has been unused since 2000.

And in spite of the recent spiffing up of some of them, a couple names of the remaining Sun-class ships, plus dare I say the first generation Grand-class ships, could be available at the start of the next decade.

Cruised on her when she was Fairsky on Sitmar and on Princess as Sky Princess.

Certainly Sky Princess would be a great name for a NEW Princess ship! :)

Originally, the Princess Patricia was a Canadian Pacific Railway ship and Princess chartered the ship from them in December, 1965 and named the company after it. My reference does not indicate who the ship was named after.

I have read that Stanley Macdonald's daughters was named Patricia. This is where the name for the Princess PATter came from,

I assume the 2019 new ship will be replacing the Royal Princess which is moving early that year to Los Angeles

By "replacing" I assume you mean taking over the Royal's current deployment of summer in Northern Europe/early autumn in Canada-NE/remainder of year in Caribbean. Unless you consider being redeployed to the west coast the equivalent of leaving the fleet...:rolleyes:
