epixx Posted August 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Do we supply our own detergent, or is there detergent in the laundry room? Is the detergent for sale separately, or is it included in the price of the washing machine?
perditax Posted August 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2017 I believe you had to buy detergent separately. We brought detergent "pacs" in a ziploc bag and a pop up hamper.

easyboy Posted August 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Detergent is $1.50 per. Better to bring your own.
Clampram Posted August 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2017 If you know when you are going to do your laundry (i.e. Day 6 of a 10 day cruise) you may be one of many folks! I suggest grabbing your tokens and laundry supply early in the cruise so that you have them. I spent an incredible amount of time getting tokens when I wanted to do a wash as we had a rainy morning and everyone was doing the same thing. Had to walk a long distance to get my tokens as the token dispenser on my floor was empty as well as the floor above. Not a big deal but it did waste some of my time.....just sayin'
susancruzs Posted August 10, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 10, 2017 I always take my own, fragrance free. I put my liquid in a 3 oz. travel container, label it, good to go. I'm elite but last year on the TA + Baltic (30 days) I did one load of laundry, then sent a few things out.
1964pilot Posted August 10, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Regarding tokens - I too had a terrible time getting tokens when I needed them on a 14 day Med cruise. Checked three other levels and no tokens. I even asked at customer service and they cannot supply them because it is a different vendor. Just think ahead and check if you think the laundry may be a little busy. There are so many different types of soap/softener, I find bring my own allot easier. Potstech Posted August 10, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 10, 2017 We use the Purex 3 in 1 sheets in order to do our laundry. Hard to find but take up little room in the luggage. We just figure how many we will need then put them in a ziploc bag.
