Water Weights for exercise in the main pool?

Does HAL provide water weights for use during water aerobics in the main pool area. I am mainly interested in the Noordam as we will be taking the 38 day jaunt to New Zealand with a lot of sea days. I can bring my own, but they are quite bulky for packing, and I haven't seen any useful blow up ones.

We were on the Noordam in May and I saw no water weights for use at the main pool.

 

I did not, however, see any water aerobics classes in the pool.

We have been on quite a few different HAL ships and none of them had water aerobic classes or water weights.

I have seen water aerobics a few times on H AL ships but no water weights provided.

HAL now calls it Aqua Aerobics and it was given daily on the Amsterdam during this year's world cruise. Water weights not included. You might want to check beforehand if this will be given on Noordam's 38-day voyage to Kiwiland

As a water aerobics instructor I feel your need to have the weights for your workouts on such a long voyage. I also see the logistics issue. I suggest you get a big size noodle at a Walmart etc...cut it into two pieces about the length of your weights. This will give resistance and be much easier to pack and hey just throw them away at the end of the cruise and you have more room for things you bought along the way.:D

We did the 66 day Seattle - Sydney - Sydney - Auckland on the Maasdam in 2016 and they did not have Aqua Aerobics on that cruise.
