$75k Slot Tournament Question

Question for anyone who won an entry into the $75k tournament - what place did you finish?

 

I ask as one my last cruise i thought it was announced that the top 3 would receive entry. I came in 3rd but didn't think much of it. I wouldn't book a cruise just for the tournament. But I just learned the cruise i did book is the one. I am trying to find out if I should be eligible.

 

I did write to the players club, but 5 days later I still have not received a response.

Well that is not quite true. Last year I did not win any tournament but I was GIVEN a tournament entry AND a complimentary cabin. I guess I didn't spend enough money this year

I came in second in a slot tournament last year and immediately received a certificate for the tournament. We did end up booking the tournament cruise but wouldn't do it again. The casino was too crowded and you only had one shot to go further in the tournament. I didn't score well in the allotted 2 minutes and was out. It probably was much better for those who received a free cruise and tournament entry as there were extra perks given to these folks, but for someone who paid for the cruise and earned the entry, it was anticlimactic.

 

Edited to add: Did you send your email about the tournament to this address? Princess Promotions (CCL) <pclpromotions@carnival.com> They were very quick to respond last year when I confirmed my participation in the tournament.

My mother-in-law won an entry as she won the slot tournament on our cruise, but only she won an entry, not second or third place. Of course she couldn't get herself on a plane to Florida to use it, so it went to waste. *sigh*
