Internet package upgrade

I am going on Epic and have the internet as one of my perks. I was wondering if you can upgrade to unlimited for less than buying unlimited package? I know I am on vacation and shouldn't need the internet but I teach online and I am required to be online once per day. It pays for my cruising so I can accept that 😉

I was on the Epic in June and they had an upgrade offer for unlimited access on the 1st or 2nd day for around $100.

Usually i just use the free wifi in port or at the next Starbucks 😉

This is one of those things where some different people have had different experiences.

 

Some have reported being able to upgrade for a reduced price, and some haven't. Unfortunately, it seems that all you can do is ask and hope you are lucky.

 

No need to justify yourself, by the way. Many people have to use the internet. Only the narrow minded will judge you.

What we were told is that if you pre-purchased a package prior you could upgrade but the perk package was not upgradeable (different product). I tried again on ship and got same answer.
