Nunagoras Posted August 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Hi!... Perharps I'll be sort of repetitive... Excuse me if so... But... Has anyone done a Transatlantic on a Musica class ship from Brasil to Europe on March? How was the weather on your sailing especially on those so many sea days? And ship movement? I'm currenthly considering this one in the title, but... So many days in the middle of the ocean? Can someone help, please? Many thanks in advance!... :)
Rare Beamafar Posted August 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2017 We did a TA from Brazil in March 2015 - one of the smoothest sailings we've ever had. Great atmosphere onboard TAs - especially on seadays!
1fifthavenue Posted August 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2017 handy to know as we have the repo from barbados to genoa of Fantasia coming up - i had been a little concerned, especially with the YC being at the front
Rare Beamafar Posted August 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2017 YMMV Tim. We've done 2 trans-Atlantics now - eastbound & westbound - and had no problems on either. I'm hoping to be able to say the same thing on our YC sailing from Dubai to Yokohama as it is a very unpleasant experience being in rough/stormy conditions in YC - been there, etc! Last time we were in South China Seas (on X) a hurricane hit in the region. We had to overnight in Hong Kong. The sailing from there to our next POC was rough!
