Where to Purchase Breakaway Vibe Pass

Recommended Posts

Vibe passes are available at the Guest Services desk on Deck 6. They are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. They cost $99pp or $329 for a 2-person clamshell cabana with a $100 food & bev credit on 7-night sailings, but I am not sure about longer sailings what the price is.

It's really up to your personal preferences on whether it is worth is for a winter cruise out of NYC. Since you are on a longer voyage, you will have a larger proportion of your trip in warm/hot weather than the usual 7-night itineraries, so it will probably be worth it for you (unless it's significantly more than their 7-night prices). The benefit, though, may be worth it, even if you can't use it for a couple of the days of the voyage (barring rain/snow, usually just embarkation day, the first half of the first sea day, and the last sea day) if you like using a fairly empty hot tub and like a more quiet/secluded area to sun/sit out. Most reviews of the ship point to quiet sun deck space and non-overcrowded hot tubs being highly lacking on the ship. One plus to the cooler weather, it is supposedly less cutthroat to get Vibe passes that time of year than during the spring/summer high season.

Personally, for my 7 night sailing the week before yours, I am going to try to get vibe passes, just for the peace of mind of a nice quiet place to be able to go (and more importantly, a decent hot tub) once we're away from NY.

He there Living Life, I am on your sailing too. I am optimistic for warmer weather the afternoon on Tuesday. So Tuesday and Wednesday could be decent days for sitting out. On the way home, we have Tuesday and possibly Wednesday again. Thursday will be cold. So two sea days I am counting on being warm, and two days that could be warm or comfortable. Plus any port days if you are not off ship all the time.

If it looks like its going to be bit too chilly or iffy weather, you may want to consider getting a Spa Pass for the week. I did Vibe last year in July, and it's not open real late, so port days, if you get off the ship, you may not get alot of time there. This combined with potential weather issues, is not a gamble I would take. While the Spa Pass, is more expensive - 1. You can purchase ahead of time, and not have to stress that Vibe Passes will be sold out 2. Don't have to worry about the weather.

The Spa can get a bit crowded, meaning that you can't get a heated Stone lounger, but it clears out around 5pm and you can have the run of the place. I'm a late diner, so I would head there around 530p, spend an hour or so, then shower and get ready for dinner right there.

I'm sailing the Breakaway December 3 out of NYC and would like to purchase a Vibe Pass. Can you tell me where to purchase the pass and if it is worth it since I'm sailing out of NYC in December (a bit cooler). I'm also wondering how much it costs. Thanks

Also be aware that if you are not a priority passenger, it will be hard to get a vibe pass. Ambassador, platinum plus, platinum, and casino guests will be allowed to board before general boarding starts. Recent reports say that you need to be in one of the first general boarding groups in order to get a vibe pass. There may be a lower demand on your cruise and you may be able to get a vibe pass if you are in one of the first few groups.

It used to be that everyone had to be in line to get tickets. This was not the case on the 9/17/17 Breakaway. So tickets went even faster. Also, tickets were given out by an officer in white, in front of the restaurant reservations desk at guest services.

This is for a Spa pass? Can you tell me what is included in this spa pass? I have never heard of a spa pass and have never sailed with NCL before. (Sailing Nov. 12th)

Thanks :)
