What should we expect in terms of the next few months (even up to half a year) regarding Caribbean cruises? Will rates and numbers of cruises increase, decrease, or have little impact?

I suspect there will be less demand for Eastern Caribbean in the next 3 to 6 months due to port closures due damage in many of the eastern Caribbean stops.

 

I think we see a up tick in demand for Southern Caribbean and Western Caribbean itineraries.

Much better than Eastern Caribbean land resorts.

 

I expect you won't see much difference in pricing or demand. You may see some itinerary changes through the end of 2017 in the Eastern Caribbean, especially St Marteen and the Virgin Islands.

Little impact, at least from a business/price perspective. The economy plays a much bigger roll in effecting the cruise lines in those senses than the weather does.

I think you are wrong. Many people choose cruises for the ports and there are going to be a lot of cancellations for those within the timeframe.

I don't think so. People aren't going to just toss their money away. Aren't they allowed to change ports? Unless people bought insurance they are stuck. And even some with insurance depending on what coverage they bought.
