MSC Balcony Question

Which typically is the same price either direct through the cruise line or through a TA as most mass market cruise lines do not discount the stateroom rates through a TA. Lower rates through a TA typically come out of some form small discount resulting from a group or blocked rooms held by the TA, or perks coming to you out of their commission. They may also be quoting you only the commissionable portion of the rate and then adding back the difference through "other charges" included in the taxes and port fees add ons.

That doesn't mean that you can't end up with lower rates as a result through a TA - just indicating how they may quote you a lower rate through "out balcony" v "brochure balcony" advertising.
